Government-issued ID is uploaded with the application so the record ties to the applicant's member profile. Applicants must be 18 or older.
Verification
Pay first. Verify next.
After the application and upfront payment are complete, applicants move into verification inside the member portal. This is where Residerly uses Stripe for identity and bank verification, then confirms background-check and soft credit status.
Stripe bank verification
Stripe verifies account ownership and the balance required for the selected membership level. No W-2s or paystubs are collected.
Soft credit and background
Soft credit score of 700 or higher is preferred, but every applicant still places the $1,000 security deposit. Background check consent is required.
